“I was doing quite well back then and had plenty of TV commercials and ramp shows to my credit. Then, Krishna Vamsi gave me my first break in films and I got a chance to play a negative role in Khadgam. Later, I contemplated moving to Mumbai to continue my modeling and acting career; however, I figured that my heart lies in Hyderabad. This is my home and no matter where I go, I’ll still be an outsider in that city.

The actor is currently basking in the glory of the buzz surrounding his latest serial, Rama Seetha, where he plays the role of a husband whose obsessive love for his wife comes in the way of the relationship. “I guess every actor dreams of doing a role like that. It’s the first time I've played a lead role with negative shades and the response from the audience has been fabulous. Apart from the TV serials, I am also planning to get back to doing good character roles in films.
