Local nonprofit 'Friends of Transit' and ASU's School of Sustainability invite undergraduate and graduate students to envision the future of transportation in the Phoenix metro area with a friendly competition for cash prizes.The competition is open to any college student or student team. Individuals or teams must prepare a presentation no more than 10 minutes long on what the future of transportation in the Phoenix metro area could look like.

Teams will present to, and answer questions from, competition judges. Competitors are encouraged to be as creative as possible and may use any technology, props or materials they wish, provided they clear all IT/AV and space needs with the contest organizer. Competitors must reserve a 30-minute slot at a pre-screening event on Tuesday, November 10, using. Slots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis between the times of 11:00 a.m. The deadline to register for the competition is Friday, November 6.

The leading teams after the pre-screening event will compete at the “Friends of Transit” Annual Conference on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. In front of 300 conference attendees and a panel of judges.
